Macey’s Chocolate Covered Potato Chips
Ingredients/Supplies:
- 8 oz. of Dark or Milk Chocolate chips
- 22 Macey’s Wavy Potato Chips
- Sea Salt
- Parchment Paper
- Tongs
- Sauce Pan
- Heat Safe Bowl
- Candy thermometer
Instructions:
Place parchment paper on two baking sheets and set aside. Melt chocolate chips by taking a heat safe bowl and placing it in a saucepan of hot, but not boiling water. Stir chips in, a bit at a time, until they are completely melted. (Note: Try not to overheat the chocolate, as it will cause it to thicken. Best practices advise 110 degrees as the perfect chocolate melting temperature.) Once chocolate has cooled, dip one potato chip in the melted chocolate using tongs. Place dipped potato chip on parchment paper and sprinkle lightly with sea salt. Repeat until all the chips and chocolate are gone. Refrigerate until cool, then enjoy!
